West Wales Virtual Road Relays Challenge - Results

During the last month, West Wales athletes have been involved in the Virtual Road Relays which gave club members the opportunity for athletes to take part in a virtual event in their local area whilst club and group activity wasn't possible due to the latest restrictions in Wales.

The challenge also ran across the other regions in Wales too on the same dates - South, East and North Wales in December and January and in total, more than 1000 runners got involved.

More than 200 participants in the West Wales region entered the first round of the virtual road relay programme before the closing date back in mid-December and 121 of them completed their run and uploaded their result ahead of the deadline of 17th January.

Welsh Athletics are running further virtual events over the next twelve weeks, which includes a 10K Virtual Challenge and a series of Virtual Winter Mile events. Entries are now open for these available across all age groups. More Details
