Round-Up from Llandeilo, Aberaeron, Liverpool and Newtown between November 16th and November 30th.

Llandeilo Festival of Senses Santa 5K  - Llandeilo (Sunday 16th November)

As part of the Llandeilo Festival of Senses weekend in the town centre, Sunday morning was the Santa 5K & junior dash which included first junior girl to finish Alys Tremlett.

 

Aberaeron Round Table Charity 5K - Aberaeron (Sunday 16th November)

At the Aberaeron Round Table Charity 5K on the same day, Alex Ladd won the race with a time of 19:03. Earlier on, Lydia Ladd completed the 1K route in 13:17.

 

 

British Athletics Cross Challenge Series - Fixture 2 - Sefton Park, Liverpool (Saturday 22nd November)

In a short turn around, the second leg of the 2025-2026 British Athletics Cross Challenge Series was on Saturday 22nd November.

The event headed to Sefton Park in Liverpool just two weeks after the Cardiff Cross Challenge in Llandaff Fields.

Iwan Thomas and Amelia Williams clocked 14:08 and 17:10 respectively in the under 20 men and under 17 women's races.

London and Nottingham will be the locations for the next set of fixtures in January and March 2026.

 

Welsh Inter-Regional Cross Country Championships 2025 - Dolerw Park, Newtown (Saturday 29th November)

The month of November ended at the 26th Welsh Inter-Regional Cross Country Championships and Urdd Primary School Races at Dolerw Park in Newtown.

It was staged in the Newtown area for the fourth year in succession as attention turned to the East, North, South and West Wales regions along with local primary schools.

Regional vests were up for grabs as West Wales selected teams in each of the junior (U13-U20), senior and master age groups.

Four primary school races in conjunction with Urdd Gobaith Cymru were also held at the beginning of the programme for boys and girls in years 3,4,5 and 6.

25 club athletes made the long journey to mid Wales to represent the region, West Wales or their primary school.
