Whilst cross country and indoor competitions remain suspended whilst the country is in alert level 4 restrictions, Welsh Athletics have organised a series of virtual events over recent months for athletes to complete in their local area.
Two of those virtual events were held over the past week.
There was a chance for older athletes to represent their region in the Welsh Athletics 'Battle of the Regions' 2K virtual race over the February Half Term (15th-19th February).
The race was open to those athletes in the under 15, under 17 and under 20 age groups who were included on the Welsh Athletics Regional and National Development Programme in Endurance this year.
Also over the weekend of the 19th to 21st February was the first of the Welsh Athletics Winter Miles Series over 1 mile. There will be virtual 2 miles and 3 miles series events to follow over consecutive weekends in March.
It was good to see Carmarthen Harriers members involved in those events and results are listed below.
