Welsh Athletics launched this year’s Regional Development Programme 2022/2023 last October for 14 to 17 year olds across the four regions in Wales.
The final two of West Wales' six regional days this season was held over two weekends at Carmarthen Athletics Track, Johnstown - Speed & Throws on Saturday 4th March, whilst the Endurance took place on Sunday 19th March.
Previous training days in the West region were held at Carmarthen Leisure Centre (October) and Swansea University (January) and attended by more than 50 athletes and a dozen coaches altogether.
The programme has been driven by the National Talent Development Coordinators and delivered by Regional Coordinators in each event group.
