Sunday 12th April will see the return of the outdoor track & field season with an open meeting in West Wales.
Swansea University Athletics Track Sketty Lane will host the Swansea Harriers Neal Merry Open Jumps Meeting and will offer early season competition for under 12 to senior athletes ahead of league, championships and other event specific events soon.
Online Entries are now open for this meeting, which takes place on Sunday 12th April 2025 starting at 11:00am.
Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump (outdoors) Pole Vault (indoors)
£5.00 per event. No refunds will be given if athletes withdraw before or on the day.
Maximum of 2 events per athlete.
This will be one of the first track and field events in Wales to operate under the new age groupings which comes into affect on 1st April.
Age Groups & Events:
- U12 Boys & Girls = School Years 5 & 6:- Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault (PV for year 6 only, approval of a coach that the athlete is competent)
- U14 Boys & Girls = School Years 7 & 8:- Long Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
- U16 Boys & Girls = School Years 9 & 10:- Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
- U18 Men & Women = School Years 11 & 12:- Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
- U20 Men & Women = School Years 13 & 14:- Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
- Senior Men & Senior Women:- Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Pole Vault
