Last Thursday, Victoria Jones - a local Sports Nutritionist/Dietician and GB international athlete Hannah Brier attended Carmarthen Leisure Centre to deliver a Nutrition workshop titled "Fuelling health + performance" with some of our older athletes.
The topics included Why nutrition is important, The performance plate, Hydration, Recovery - the three R's, Pre training fuelling, Athlete perspective and Risks.
It was a very useful and informative session to athletes and parents alike and we thank Victoria and Hannah for their time. Diolch yn fawr!
