It's the final month of the track and field season, and events have continued for Carmarthen Harriers members, participating at various locations in the last week and a half.
Below are the Carmarthen Harriers club results from events held between August 9th and August 17th at Swansea, Birmingham, Poppit Sands, Aberdare, Watford, Manchester and St Clears.
Swansea Harriers Evans Family Track & Field Open Meeting 2025 - Swansea University Athletics Track (Saturday 9th August)
Following the track and field season opener in West Wales, Swansea Harriers hosted its second open meeting of the season, this time the Evans Family Track & Field Open Meeting held at Swansea University Athletics Track on Saturday 9th August.
It offered the sprint and distance hurdles, 75m, 100m, 150m, 200m, 800m, 1500m, Long Jump, High Jump, Triple Jump, Javelin, Shot, Discus, Hammer and Pole Vault disciplines over a six-hour programme.
A great turnout of 36 Carmarthen Harriers athletes made the short journey to Swansea to participate during the middle of the summer holidays.

England Athletics Under 15 and Under 17 Championships 2025 - Alexander Stadium, Birmingham (Friday 8th - Sunday 10th August)
Over three-days of competition at the England Athletics U15 & U17 Championships in Birmingham, Sali Owen, Filip Noga and Cerys Fitzpatrick travelled to the Midlands for the second National championships in a fortnight.
Owen finished fourth in the 1500m steeplechase on the first afternoon (5:24.83). In the throws cage, Noga threw a new personal best of 41.18m for sixth.
The following day, Fitzpatrick claimed a silver medal with a 8:43.03 clocking in the 3000m walk.
Watford Harriers Open / Trafford Grand Prix - Watford / Manchester (6th & 9th August)
Iwan Thomas travelled across the border, running at two endurance events in the space of four days.
It began at the midweek Watford Harriers open graded meeting, where he lined up in the 3000m and finished with a time of 8:43.19.
Thomas went North to Manchester for the Trafford Grand Prix, this time over 1500m. The long journey was rewarded with a new personal best of 3:57.77.
Poppit Sands 5K Summer Series - Poppit Sands (Tuesday 12th August)
The Poppit Sands 5K Summer Series concluded in Pembrokeshire. Llew Vaughan (9:27) was the junior 2K home, having completed all three races. The trio of Erica Broome (11:03), Alys Tremlett (12:06) and Lydia Ladd (14:59) also participated in the junior race.
Running the adult 5K multi-terrain course which followed were Alex Ladd (19:31), Elizabeth Tremlett (22:23), Steffan Bridger (23:01) and Tom Bridger (23:01).
British Milers Club Endurance Races - Ron Jones Stadium, Aberdare (Tuesday 12th August)
Ron Jones Stadium in Aberdare hosted the third British Milers Club 800m, 1500m, 3000m and walks graded races on Tuesday 12th August.

Tri Hard 5K On The Bay - Swansea Bay (Thursday 14th August)
Thursday evening was the Tri Hard Harriers 5K On The Bay. Joshua Barnett finished fourteenth overall, in 16:58.
Ras Beca - Crosswell, Pembrokeshire (Saturday 16th August)
Ras Beca Trail Race took place on Saturday near Crosswell in North Pembrokeshire. In the 5 mile, Steffan Davies was second overall in 42:49 whilst Huw Davies also came second in the M50 category with 51:06.
St Clears 10K Road Race (Sunday 17th August)
For the second time, the West Wales 10K Road Running Championships were incorporated into the St Clears 10K on Sunday 17th August.
Finishing as the second open male was Joshua Barnett in a new personal best time of 39:20. Meanwhile, Paul Clarke was the third home in the male 45 category, with a time of 39:45.
