Donate towards the Carmarthen Harriers Kilometers for Kidneys

Carmarthen Harriers athlete Macsen Toogood (498, pictured) has suffered with a rare kidney disease since the age of 7. Despite this he has become a successful athlete and has won several Welsh titles.

Macsen gets treated at the Cardiff Kidney Centre and sees first hand children spending hours on dialysis.

After an unexpected relapse at the end of January and February, he has continued to train hard at the track when allowed by his consultant. At competitions, he helped the under 15 boys to team medals in the John H Collins Gwent Cross Country League and Welsh Athletics Cross Country Championships recently.

A group of Carmarthen Harriers endurance athletes are taking on the Kilometers for Kidneys challenge where each athlete are running 160km / 100 miles over the next few weeks.

The money raised will all go to the children's Kidney centre to help improve the facility to ensure children have the best possible experience on an often traumatic day.

All donations will be greatly appreciated. If you'd like to donate and contribute towards this worthy cause, please click the link below:
