2010 Carmarthenshire Sports Personality Awards

 

Carmarthen Harriers was short listed for three awards at the Presentation evening held at Stradey Park Hotel on Wednesday 27 January 2010

 

Joan Goldsmith won the Volunteer of the Year Award and Dewi Griffiths (young sportsman of the year) and the Harriers junior team were runners up in their categories

Carmarthen Harriers won a total of 19 medals at the championships. Nine were gold, five silver and five bronze

 

Under fifteen athlete Aled Price won two golds and one silver whilst under 13 boy Nikita Neary won two gold medals

The fourth Gwent Cross Country League match is at the Penlan Athletics Track at Brecon on Saturday 13 February 2010

 

The Harriers bus will leave outside Peacocks in Lammas Street Carmarthen at 9.00 am on Saturday 13 February 2010 and will pick up at Coop Cross Hands at 9.15 am and Llandeilo Primary School at 9.35am.

 

The Bus fare is £5 and the competition fee £1
