2016/17 Carmarthen Harriers membership - This year's membership fee is now due. The new membership year starts on 1 March 2016 and covers till 28 February 2017.

only paid up Carmarthen Harriers members will be allowed to train on the Carmarthen Athletic Track on club training nights (Tuesday and Thursdays)

Only paid up members are covered under the Carmarthen Harriers insurance policy and are able to compete for Carmarthen Harriers in inter club or Welsh championships.

Membership forms are now available (from 10/2) and it is important that everyone pays up for the year ahead as soon as possible.

Membership package will be posted to all current Harriers members who do not use the Carmarthen Athletics track on a regular basis. All 2016/17 members after receipt of their membership form and fee will receive in the post with their Harriers membership card (with Harriers number on it, club code of practice form, fixture list, and telephone numbers of coaches and team managers)

From 1 March all coaches will keep a register of all the athletes in their group and will receive a list of the members registered with Welsh Athletics (yellow cards with number on it) at regular intervals onwards.

Membership rates for the year beginning 1st March 2016 are as follows:


Athletes nine and under 15 years of age on 01/09/2016 £27.50*

Athletes Over 15 but under 20 years of age on 01/09/2016 £32.50*

Athletes over 20 years of age on 01/09/2016 £37.50*

Family membership £52.50*

Student membership £27.50*

(Must be in further education EG. University not 6th form college)




*Membership fees include Welsh Athletics registration fee (U15 £10; U20 £10; seniors £17.50) and the Carmarthen Harriers personal accident insurance scheme (£3 per member)


Please Note:

  • All Carmarthen Harriers members in 2016 are expected to compete for the Club in the Welsh U11/U13/U15 Athletics League
  • The Club is always looking for willing volunteers to help with all aspects of the Club. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact one of the Club Officers
  • It is also expected that every Member will follow the Welsh Athletics Code of Conduct which is available on the Carmarthen Harriers Website

Training Levy to remain as in 2015 £3 on Tuesday evening and £2 on Thursday evening
